Nawabi Andy ki Biryani
Ingredients
Egg 6 (boiled)
Oil ½ cup
Whole spices mix 1 tbsp
Onion brown ½ cup
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Turmeric ½ tsp
Chili powder 2 tsp heaped
Coriander and mint 2 tbsp each (chopped)
Potatoes 2 (cut in small cubes)
Peas ½ cup (boiled)
Yogurt 1 cup
Rice ½ kg (boiled with 2 tbsp salt)
Green chilies 4 (chopped)
Allspice ½ tsp
Saffron ¼ tsp (dissolved in ¼ cup milk)
Kewra water 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Heat oil add whole spices add brown onion, ginger garlic paste, turmeric and chili powder, fry well.
Add potatoes, peas and ½ cup water.
Cover and cook till potatoes tender.
Add yogurt, boiled eggs, in a pan spread ½ boiled rice, cooked egg mixture, topped with green chili, coriander, mint remaining rice, sprinkle Kewra and saffron mixture.
Leave it on simmer for 15 minutes.
Nawabi Andy ki Biyrani is ready to serve.
