Mutton Kofta Curry
Ingredients
Minced mutton 1/2 kg
Dry seeded plums 100 gm
Green chilli 1
Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
Gram flour 3 tbsp
Cream 1/4
All spice 1 tsp
Ghee as required
Salt to taste
Grind Together:
Medium tomatoes 3
Medium onions 2
Ginger 1" piece
Cloves of garlic 3
Green chilli 1
Coriander seeds 1 tsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Chilli powder 1 tsp
Cooking Directions
Mix the gram flour in the minced meat and add 1 tsp salt, 1 green chilli chopped finely and a little green coriander.
From into balls, then stuff a little chopped plums in the center and form koftas.
Now heat 3 tbsp ghee in a vessel and fry the ground paste well till ghee separates and a rich brown colour is obtained.
Then add 2 cups of water and salt to taste and cook for a few minutes.
Add the koftas and simmer until koftas are soft but not broken.
Add 1 tsp all spice and 1/4 cup beaten cream just before serving.
