Loki ka Khatta Daalcha






Ingredients

Brown Lentil 1 cup
Bottle Gourd 1 kg
Ginger garlic Paste 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric 1 tsp
Green chilies 4
Curry leaves few leaves
Salt to taste
Tamarind Pulp 1 cup
Cinnamon powder (roasted) 1 tsp
Oil 1 cup




Cooking Directions

Wash brown lentil with lukewarm water. Add water in cooking pan and boil lentil until soft. Blend the lentil in blander.

Take a pan and warm oil then add ginger garlic paste, red chili powder, and turmeric. Cook about 2-3 minutes.

Stir in bottle gourd then add blended lentil, green chilies, curry leaves and salt. Add ½ cup water and cook until bottle gourd is soft.

When bottle gourd is tender, add tamarind pulp, sprinkle cinnamon powder and simmer for 5 minutes. Delicious Loki ka Khatta Daalcha is ready.
